Well, I've been to Missouri to look at the river. It was a great trip. Here are some of the first photos from Jefferson, MO. The river is pretty fast and wide, the wing dams are certainly something to avoid, but they are pretty easy to see. There are also some photos of the capitol building, a church and a Lewis and Clark statue.
